We’re partnered with a fast-growing technology business looking to hire a Chief of Staff / Head of Operations to work directly with the CEO. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible, strategic role where you’ll act as the CEO’s right hand — helping to drive clarity, structure, and execution across the organisation’s most critical initiatives.
This isn’t a back-office role — you’ll be in the room where key decisions are made, turning strategy into action, and ensuring projects move forward with momentum. You’ll balance big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery, supporting everything from operational excellence to executive communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CEO to translate priorities into actionable plans with clear milestones and outcomes.
- Anticipate challenges, identify solutions, and keep initiatives on track with minimal CEO involvement.
- Lead execution of high-priority projects spanning finance, operations, and commercial functions.
- Strengthen operational processes and provide financial oversight (including budgeting and accrual accounting support).
- Drive accountability through effective leadership team meetings, quarterly planning, and project follow-through.
- Prepare high-quality materials for executive communications, presentations, and external engagements.
- Act as a connector across departments, ensuring alignment and progress on cross-functional initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
- 5–10 years’ experience in a high-performance environment (e.g. consulting, strategy/ops, or Chief of Staff roles).
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear, structured projects.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling ability — able to simplify complexity for different audiences.
- Financial acumen, including familiarity with budgeting and accrual accounting.
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth business.
- Trusted advisor mindset — with sound judgment, discretion, and executive presence.
