Job Description
To provide support in the implementation and development of supply chain systems to forecast and plan supply with distributors. This role involves technical support for purchasing functions and supplier qualifications, focusing on strategic planning and global supply chain optimization.
Specific Responsibilities
Lead the Demand & Distribution Planning Transformation Project
- Work with Sr. Director of Demand & Distribution planning and help the end-to-end transformation of demand and distribution planning processes to improve forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and service levels.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
- Implement advanced forecasting models and planning tools to enhance efficiency and responsiveness.
- Drive the integration of new planning methodologies (Camelot forecasting, SAP IBP DM & I/O, AI/ML scenario planning).
- Ensure alignment with commercial, finance, and supply chain teams for holistic planning execution.
Upgrade the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning) Process
- Work with leaders of Demand and distribution planning and Supply planning and their teams to redesign and implement an improved SIOP framework to enhance decision-making and cross-functional collaboration.
- Define key performance metrics (KPIs) for tracking and improving SIOP effectiveness.
- Facilitate alignment between demand planning, supply planning, finance, and executive leadership to create a consensus-driven supply chain plan.
- Implement automation and digitalization of the SIOP process using best-in-class technology.
- Help build dashboard for reporting
Build and Lead a High-Performing Supply Chain Analytics Team
- Establish a dedicated analytics team to provide data-driven insights for supply chain decision-making.
- Define key data requirements, analytical tools, and methodologies for demand forecasting, inventory management, and network optimization.
- Implement dashboards and reporting tools for real-time visibility into supply chain performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making within the supply chain function.
Drive Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the key liaison between supply chain, production, logistics, IT, finance, commercial teams, and senior leadership.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
- Conduct training and upskilling programs for teams on advanced planning and analytics capabilities.
- Proactively help supply chain leadership team manage risks, identify potential roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Experience:
- BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).10+ years Supply Chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex supply chain operations and drive change.
- Strong analytical skills in process/data, exceptional problem-solving, and able to make improvements.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes required; inventory management, including components of inventory, demand and supply management, capacity planning, and materials management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain systems, specifically SAP
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Well organized, structured, and process-driven with a speed & execution mindset.
- Travel required.
