The largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, RWJBarnabas Health, is seeking a full-time Director of Geriatrics for employment in Lakewood, NJ.
The position is a full-time role, with inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Incumbent will be joining one of the only state-of-the-art and fully accredited GEM units in the state, specialized in caring for aging patients. We are a dynamic team composed of experienced providers with a strong support staff, including a scheduler and CCT technician.
As part of the Director of Geriatric's responsibilities, this role will have oversight of the geriatric teams based at both Monmouth Medical Center (MMC) and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (MMCSC). This role will offer driven physicians the potential to grow into an administrative role.
Position Requirements:
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine/Geriatrics.
- All candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- A commitment to excellence in care and service.
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $345,000 to $425,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.

About Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus
Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (MMCSC), located in Lakewood, is a fully accredited acute care hospital dedicated to providing high-quality health care services to the community. MMCSC continues to expand its surgical services and is introducing a Minimally Invasive Surgical program.
The Jacqueline M. Wilentz Breast Center at MMCSC offers comprehensive services
including 3D screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic
breast biopsy, surgery and consultation, and genetic counseling. MMCSC offers
Outpatient Rehabilitation is areas such as Oncology, Cardiac, Pulmonary, and Physical
and Occupational Therapy. MMCSC is committed to helping patients live their best lives by getting them back to the activities that are most important to them.
