This position will lead the development and rollout of operational performance standards and metrics to drive high performance in all aspects of Operations including Manufacturing, Production, Logistics, Safety, People Development, Cost, Innovation, Maintenance, Inventory Management, and Asset care. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. This position will require travel to both our Neptune City, NJ and Monroe Township, NJ facilities.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
- Deliver breakthrough results in key operational metrics (TRIR, fill rate, Net productivity) and viewed as an expert in their field.
- Lead and develop operation leaders to deliver expected results in each of the key process areas.
- Collaborate with the leadership team and business leaders to create strategic priorities and deliver on critical operating priorities.
- Develop a strategic roadmap and enforcing milestones to develop and maintain manufacturing operations protocol and processes; budgets; vendor relationships; quality assurance standards; incentive fulfillment processes; reporting of KPIs; for quality, budgeting, and performance.
- Ensure that audit standards are met for all processes and procedures.
- Develop quality assurance, fraud detection, and validation procedures.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
- Extensive experience as plant manager and/or multisite leader within the manufacturing industry, preferably food/edible raw materials. They must have the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and engage the team through expertise and coaching.
- Excellent leadership credentials including coaching skills with an ability to inspire, lead, and influence.
- Ability to think broadly when evaluating financial and business indicators and translating data into actionable information to drive improved results.
- Adept at strategic thinking as well as practical application.
- Strong priority-setting and collaboration skills.
- Relevant background in Plastics, preferably PA (nylon).
- Excellent communication and presentation skill.
