Title: VP of Manufacturing Operations
Location: Yonkers, NY (fully on-site)
Salary: $140,000-$170,000 with an annual bonus
Position Overview:
The VP of Operations will lead and optimize all operational functions within the organization, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality output. This role will focus on strategic planning, resource management, and implementing best practices across the manufacturing environment to drive growth and operational excellence.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Oversee the manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced on time and within budget.
- Manage the supply chain, including sourcing raw materials and managing vendor relationships.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Drive the adoption of ERP systems within the organization to enhance data-driven decision making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in foundry or CNC shops.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials including graphite, metal, steel, and aluminum.
- Experience with fabrication techniques and manufacturing best practices.
- Proficient in ERP systems and quality management systems (QMS).
