Historically rooted in the automotive industry, the company is entering a new growth phase focused on diversification into new markets such as data centers, aerospace, medical, and others.
Position Summary
The President will serve as the senior executive leader of the company, responsible for driving strategic growth, expanding into new industries, and positioning the business for long-term success. This role requires a visionary leader who can build strong customer relationships, identify and capture emerging market opportunities, and scale the company through disciplined execution and strategic investments. While operational excellence remains important, this position emphasizes leadership in business development, strategy, and organizational growth rather than day-to-day shop management.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan focused on revenue growth, diversification, and market expansion.
- Identify and develop new customers, industries, and product lines beyond the automotive base.
- Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Partner with ownership to evaluate acquisition opportunities, capital investments, and new facility growth.
- Business Development & Customer Engagement
- Serve as the primary executive interface with major customers, industry partners, and potential new accounts.
- Lead efforts to expand the company’s customer base and establish partnerships in target industries.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and key industry events to promote capabilities and brand recognition.
- Financial & Operational Oversight
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and capital investment plans aligned with growth objectives.
- Maintain oversight of production, quality, and delivery performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Implement data-driven KPIs to track growth, profitability, and operational performance.
- Leadership & Culture
- Build and lead a high-performing management team across operations, sales, engineering, and administration.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
- Inspire innovation, employee engagement, and continuous professional development throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, with demonstrated success in growing revenue and entering new markets.
- Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies, identify new market opportunities, and close major customer relationships.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, capital planning, and investment analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
