Fraser Dove International is partnering exclusively with a global pharmaceutical organisation with a major Oral Solid Dose manufacturing site in the US. Our client is seeking a visionary manufacturing leader to oversee and optimise all OSD manufacturing operations at a flagship site, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency and safety.

Your objectives:
As the Senior Director, Manufacturing, you will be measured against the following objectives:
- Develop and execute the site manufacturing strategy, ensuring alignment with global business goals, corporate objectives and market demand.
- Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives to maximise productivity and reduce waste.
- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
What you will do:
As the Senior Director, Manufacturing, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead end-to-end OSD manufacturing operations, including granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation and packaging.
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Technical Operations to ensure seamless operational delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with cGMP and all relevant global regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, MHRA).
- Oversee performance metrics for safety, quality, cost, delivery and people development.
- Drive capital investment projects to expand capacity and enhance operational capability.
- Serve as a key member of the site leadership team, contributing to strategic business planning and decision-making.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, safety and operational discipline across all production areas.
What you will bring:
These are the skills and experience you will need to succeed as the Senior Director, Manufacturing:
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing small molecule DP manufacturing operations.
- Strong technical expertise in OSD manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in complex, regulated environments.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP and regulatory expectations from agencies such as FDA, EMA and MHRA.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry or a related field.
- Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred.
