Job Description
Manufacturing Operations Admin manages day-to-day operational administrative duties in a state of the art regulated, cannabis production and packaging facility located in Tempe, Arizona. This position plans, coordinates and controls manufacturing processes so products are delivered on time and within budget. This leader digitally takes cannabis from its raw form to a finished packaged product ready to be delivered to the dispensaries and through wholesale channels.
Shift Monday-Friday 6:00 am-2:45pm
Core Responsibilities
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Work in tandem with head of manufacturing and department managers to ensure all departments are producing proper quantities to fill the demand of our internal retail and wholesale retail
- Coordinate with the farm, retail and production teams regarding flower/product category and quantity coming to production facility is in a normal cadence in conjunction with the demand (production) plan to give the manufacturing team the proper material needed to produce all form factors.
- Assist with the plan/weekly production schedule for all departments, update and log changes to the schedule for traceability
- Partner and work with raw materials warehouse inventory, purchasing and other facility teams to ensure raw materials/consumables needed for production is on
- Work closely with head of manufacturing to solve administrative issues, report numbers,
- Develop and maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, updating, developing and enforcing SOP’s and compliance policies.
- Assist and manage End of Month counts
- Work with each department to create, monitor, update product cover sheets, QR codes and audit updates
- Manage third party scheduling calendar and assist with receiving/shipping order verifications for both third party and internal deliveries.
- Act as a backup label producer when needed

Qualifications And Education
- Must be at least 21 years of
- Must be able to pass a background check in order to obtain, and maintain, a Facility Agent card in accordance with Arizona State Department of Health Services
- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent manufacturing & production management or supervisory
- Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in a highly regulated environment including working knowledge of fulfillment and manufacturing facets such as continuous improvement, team building and training, safety, KPI's, quality, and customer
- Experience in the following functional areas: production planning and scheduling, manufacturing, distribution, raw materials purchasing, inventory planning controls, and strong employee
- A Minimum of 3+ years as an effective and engaged employee manager and team
- Experience with data collection, results interpretation, and problem-solving
- Strong attention to detail with a production quota driven
