We are looking for a Head of Operations at Social Networking Platform (YC backed).
What you'll do:
- you will be joining as the head of the New York market - spearheading all curation, sales, venue/host relations, logistics, experience calendar planning, & customer support.
- you will be launching the market with the goal of hosting 15 experiences a month in month 1, 24 in month 2, and 31 in month 3.
- you’ll make venue partnerships + find curators we can start working with.
- based on feedback data, you’ll make the decision of which venues/curators to continue working with, which to replace, and how each of them can improve iteratively.
- you’ll be handling customer support for the entire market.
- you’ll be focused on growth initiatives to increase member count in your market.
- you’ll become an expert in live experiences.
Who you are:
- 1 - 5 years of experience in operations / sales / partnerships at a startup (ideally consumer/marketplace) or in consulting
- Experience in operations, partnerships, product or customer success/sales at a startup OR consulting (i. e. PwC, Deloitte, McKinsey, etc. )
- Founded a company or started something on the side, specifically in consumer/hospitality/events/fashion/music is a plus
- Experience at a consumer marketplace startup (e. g. , Uber, DoorDash, Sofar Sounds).
- Data / analytics background is a plus
