Role Description
The Vice President of Manufacturing is a full-time, on-site executive leadership role based in Paterson, NJ. This individual will oversee all day-to-day manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure world-class operational performance across production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions.
The VP of Manufacturing will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth, building high-performing teams, and advancing the company’s modernization initiatives in alignment with CWP’s broader strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all manufacturing functions
- Lead, mentor, and develop a strong, accountable operations team
- Optimize production efficiency, quality, and safety performance
- Drive process improvement, automation, and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Oversee supply chain and materials management to ensure on-time delivery
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and executive leadership to meet company goals
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven success in manufacturing leadership, preferably at the VP or Director level
- Strong background in manufacturing operations, process optimization, and operational excellence
- Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management and resource planning
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred)
- Experience within aerospace, automotive, medical device, defense, telecommunications, or electronics industries strongly preferred
