We are seeking a strategic and results-driven plant operations leader to oversee plant activities at a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for directing operations across a workforce of up to 300 employees, with a strong focus on achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement across all plant functions.
- Lead and develop the plant leadership team to drive operational excellence.
- Monitor and manage KPIs, proactively addressing trends and performance gaps.
- Facilitate strategic planning and budgeting aligned with business goals.
- Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices and daily management systems.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and compliance with GMP standards.
- Drive innovation in processes and systems to improve cost, service, and quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
- At least 5 years of direct supervisory experience.
- Strong business acumen in planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multi-shift operations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, or packaging preferred.
- Lean manufacturing and project management experience highly desirable.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to be on-call 24/7.
- Comfortable working in both office and industrial environments.
- Must be able to wear PPE and work in conditions with noise, heat, and dust.
- Valid driver’s license required.
