Govig & Associates, the premier executive search firm in the senior living industry, has partnered with an established long-term care provider and is seeking an experienced and results-driven Nursing Home Administrator to lead a multi-level senior living community in Southern Indiana.
The successful candidate will be a high-performing leader with proven expertise in census growth, operational excellence, and team development. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure regulatory compliance, high-quality resident care, and financial performance goals are met or exceeded.
- Direct and mentor department heads and staff, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and resident-focused culture.
- Develop and implement effective marketing and outreach strategies to drive census growth and maintain occupancy levels.
- Partner with regional and corporate teams to leverage resources and support.
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control to optimize NOI.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure survey readiness at all times.
- Engage in leadership development programs, including multi-tiered leadership academies and executive training cohorts.
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Health Facility Administrator (HFA) license, or ability to obtain through reciprocity
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator, preferably with multi-service (SNF, AL, IL) operations
- Demonstrated success in census building, financial performance, and staff leadership
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead independently with minimal oversight, while fostering collaboration and peer engagement
- Commitment to resident-centered care and servant leadership principles
