Vice President of Operations
Our CPG client is seeking a dynamic VP of Operations to lead multi-site production and contract manufacturing for our growing organization. This strategic role will oversee production planning, efficiency, and quality while strengthening relationships with contract manufacturers to ensure our capabilities meet ambitious growth goals.
What You’ll Do
- Lead production across internal sites and contract manufacturers, aligning capacity with business needs.
- Build and manage strong partnerships with contract manufacturers, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee production planning and S&OP processes, optimizing inventory, forecasting, and material flow.
- Drive operational excellence with Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure rigorous quality standards and regulatory compliance while improving yield and minimizing downtime.
What We’re Looking For
- 15+ years of progressive leadership in production operations, including 7+ years at the senior level.
- Experience managing multi-site production, with strong contract manufacturing expertise.
- Deep knowledge of S&OP, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP and production planning systems; MBA a plus.
- Willingness to travel to sites and partner locations.
