Who You Are:
As the Associate Manger, Production at Michael Kors, you'll assist the production team with the development and product lifecycle management for all MMK Mainline and Cutup categories. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure the integrity of product from first proto samples to bulk production.
What You’ll Do:
- Communicate daily with all vendors/agents regarding changes/updates in all phases of the production process.
- Communicate daily with design, tech, merchant, and sales team to maintain calendar dates and deliveries.
- With team oversight, partner in the product development process to ensure product meets divisional objectives with regard to quality, price, value, and profitability.
- Assist Sr. Production Manager with passing seasonal buy by communicating with sales team, vendors, and factories to negotiate costing, product quality, and delivery.
- Update and maintain costing data in all systems.
- Maintain updated sample status in Excel, tracking and updating reports for weekly meetings.
- Input data for all seasonal costing and purchase orders to ensure efficient delivery, costing, and buy units to factories in RLM.
- Issue and update all purchase orders and UPCs for finished goods.
- Track and maintain bulk delivery schedule with overseas factories and logistics team. Publish weekly Shipping/Receipt Summary.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-5 years of apparel production experience
- Very strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent follow-up, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task
