Join our client's Executive Leadership Team and help transform a 50+ year-old, family-built service company into a modern, tech-enabled platform. This is your chance to bridge trusted tradition with scalable growth while working directly with the CEO and our private equity partners.
You'll oversee all field, service, and supply operations—leading the charge on new systems, stronger accountability, and operational excellence that delivers safe, reliable, high-quality service at scale.
What You'll Do
Drive Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily field operations and ensure service quality and contract compliance
- Roll out standardized procedures, dashboards, and field tech and create KPI's
- Improve service quality, retention, productivity, and profitability
- Modernize the Supply function—procurement, inventory, and logistics
- Streamline scheduling, inspections, and client reporting
Lead & Develop People
- Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Mentor Area Managers, Supervisors, and cross-functional leaders
- Live and promote Company values
- Present operational updates to the Board
Own Safety & Compliance
- Drive a consistent safety culture across all sites
- Ensure OSHA compliance and meet state/local regulations
- Partner with HR on workers' comp, claims, timekeeping, and return-to-work programs
Manage the Business
- Own the Operations P&L and drive margin improvement
- Work with Finance and the CEO on budgets, forecasts, and reviews
- Create and use KPIs to improve efficiency and accountability
- Lead cost-control initiatives aligned with PE value-creation goals
Support Clients & Growth
- Keep clients happy through reliable execution and proactive communication
- Grow existing accounts and support renewals and referrals
- Partner with Business Development on new prospects and proposals
- Be a trusted operational partner to key accounts
Lead Modernization
- Roll out new tech platforms (ERP, CRM, timekeeping, field service systems)
- Strengthen data-driven decision-making and process discipline
- Execute priorities from the 5-Year Strategic Plan and PE transformation roadmap
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years leading operations in a blue-collar service company
- Experience modernizing or integrating operations in a PE-backed or multi-site environment
- Proven P&L ownership and KPI management
- Strong change leadership—aligning people, process, and tech toward a shared vision
- Great communicator who can connect with frontline teams, corporate leaders, and investors
- Adaptable, growth-minded, and energized by scaling a traditional business into a modern platform
- Ability and willingness to travel to other offices in CA
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
- Lean or Six Sigma certification (green belt+) preferred
- Must pass background screening
