About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our plastic surgery clinic. This role is pivotal in ensuring an exceptional patient experience from initial consultation through post-operative care. You will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through scheduling, treatment plans, and financial coordination while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Communication & Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Educate patients on procedures, pre-op and post-op instructions, and recovery timelines.
- Scheduling & Coordination:
- Manage appointment scheduling for consultations, surgeries, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and other staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Financial & Administrative Duties:
- Provide cost estimates, discuss payment options, and assist with financing arrangements.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Customer Experience:
- Deliver a concierge-level experience, ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their journey.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare or aesthetic practice preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
