Position Overview
The Replenishment Planner & Forecaster will play a critical role in driving inventory efficiency, ensuring on-time product availability, and supporting sales growth across key retail accounts. This individual will own forecasting, replenishment, and inventory planning processes, collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to optimize stock levels and service metrics across multiple product categories and retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain accurate forecasts by account, category, and SKU based on sales trends, promotions, seasonality, and product lifecycle.
- Partner with Sales and Operations teams to align demand plans with business objectives and production capabilities.
- Monitor sell-in and sell-through performance across accounts; identify trends, risks, and opportunities to proactively adjust forecasts.
- Manage replenishment parameters including safety stock levels, reorder points, and lead times to achieve service level and inventory turn targets.
- Collaborate with retail partners’ planning and replenishment teams to ensure alignment on forecasts, replenishment cadence, and promotional volume expectations.
- Analyze point-of-sale (POS) and inventory data to identify slow movers, out-of-stocks, and replenishment gaps.
- Support new product launches and end-of-life transitions through accurate planning and communication with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports and performance summaries to leadership, highlighting key metrics such as forecast accuracy, fill rate, and inventory health.
- Partner with Logistics and Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery and allocation of inventory across distribution channels.
- Continuously evaluate and improve forecasting tools, models, and processes for greater accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in replenishment planning, demand forecasting, or inventory management, ideally within consumer products or retail.
- Experience working with mass, mid-tier, or club retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Costco, TJX, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in forecasting and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, Relex, or similar) and strong Excel/analytical skills.
- Proven ability to analyze large data sets, identify insights, and make recommendations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Retail Partners.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues.

Salary $100,000-$120,000
