We are looking for am Office Receptionist for a top company in New York, New York! We are seeking a smart, energetic and affable person to join its highly collaborative team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to proactively manage and track various open tasks and assignments independently and collaboratively, and work on a variety of time-sensitive projects. The successful candidate will have the ability to multitask, demonstrate foresight, take responsibility over their assignments, be a willing and eager team player, be highly responsive and efficient and have the willingness to learn and adapt in a growing, multi-office fluid environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create an overall warm and inviting atmosphere and maintain all amenities, office cafés, and facilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and direct them to the appropriate contact
- Anticipate guests’ needs and respond quickly and professionally to all requests
- Order and oversee the stocking of the office café and kitchen
- Ensure that the lobby, office spaces, and cafés are clean and tidy at all times
- Answer telephone and communicate appropriate information to connect callers or to relay messages?
- Communicate and partner with catering vendors to ensure preparation for employee and guest needs
- Take proactive and follow up actions to ensure completion of tasks in a timely manner
Required Qualifications:
- 1 – 4 years of experience in an administrative or hospitality; financial setting preferred
- Undergraduate degree from accredited College/University required
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite especially Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- Mature, dedicated, reliable, thorough and professional, with a hands-on attitude and willingness to perform all responsibilities required for success
- Must be able to lift and move up to 20 pounds at times
