Main Responsibilities
Tooversee the Patient Care Services team which includes management and creation of services such as cognitive, prescriptive, diagnostic testing, immunizations, and travel health. Work closely with the department VP to formulate strategies, and collaborate with operations to create tactics and initiatives to exceed KPI and revenue targets. Ensure Albertsons Companies remains on the cutting edge of pharmacy practice by being an early adopter of services enabled by legislation or payer partnership.
- Communicate and influence leaders at all levels of the organization to develop, iterate and improve patient care programs.
- Oversee project implementation by advising and directing Patient Care Services team.
- Maintain regular communications with pharmacy operations regarding planning, performance and operational challenges and successes.
- Develop and implement corporate initiatives to drive KPIs and meet or exceed AOP goals.
- Own and execute on AOP goals surrounding Patient Care Services and report on results on a period basis to leadership team.
- Communicate KPI reporting and tactics that will drive results to division operations, including VP’s, DPO’s and DPM’s.
- Create the financial evaluation and determine ROI for initiatives.
- Implement continuous quality improvement (CQI) policies to ensure standardization of education and training needs.
- Collaborate with operations to identify marketing opportunities and work with corporate pharmacy marketing to create materials that can be utilized by divisions.
- Advise on systems enhancements for patient care services.
- Work closely with the procurement department to manage manufacturer relations to provide patient care services in our pharmacies
- Collaborate with pharmacy product team to develop and oversee implementation of clinical systems.
- Collaborate with managed care department to identify new opportunities and maximize sales potential.
- Manage relationships with vendors and other business partners to collaborate on key initiatives.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development to create education tools to assist in the delivery of patient care services.
- Involvement in National Associations that impact the opportunities and delivery of assigned patient care services.
- Administer performance reviews and progressive discipline to patient care services team, as required.
- Oversight of call center operations through Pharmacy Customer Care.
- Oversee the implementation of new pharmacy services allowed by legislative changes and partnerships with payers, health plan partners, or other business partner opportunities.
Required
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- 5 Years Registered Pharmacist
- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- At least two years of people management experience
- At least one year of experience in providing a wide variety of patient care services
- Strong ability to prioritize and execute multiple activities/initiatives in an environment of constant change
- Strong understanding of pharmacy industry issues and opportunities, especially as they relate to patient care services.
- Professionalism and strong work ethic
- Skilled at Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
Preferred
- At least three years Pharmacy Manager experience

The salary range is $ 135,800 to $ 190,100 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.
