Talem Home Care is seeking caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a CNA/Home Healthcare Scheduler in Colorado Springs, CO and surrounding areas. As a CNA/Home Healthcare Scheduler, you’ll manage caregiver schedules, ensure EVV compliance, and provide personal care coverage when needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both office coordination and hands-on caregiving.
We have weekday morning shifts, flexible afternoon hours, and optional weekend on-call availability!

Job Summary
The
CNA / Scheduler plays a dual role in our agency, ensuring smooth daily operations through reliable scheduling and immediate field coverage. This person is essential in maintaining continuity of care and administrative efficiency.
Responsibilities - Scheduling & Coordination
- Manage caregiver schedules using CareSmartz 360
- Confirm daily visits and resolve missed or late shifts
- Monitor EVV clock-ins/outs and correct discrepancies
- Communicate promptly with caregivers, clients, and families
- Maintain caregiver availability and compatibility roster
- Support new client intake scheduling and temporary service plans
- Prepare data for monthly Quality Management Review
- Client Care Coverage
- Fill open shifts as a CNA when coverage gaps arise
- Provide personal care per client service plans
- Report changes in client condition to CCC/RN
- Maintain accurate documentation for all visits
- Participate in new client introductions to support care continuity
- Administrative Support
- Assist with incident reporting and client follow-ups
- Track caregiver attendance and call-offs
- Coordinate buddy shifts for new hires
- Uphold HIPAA and Talem Home Care privacy standards
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA license in good standing
- 1+ year of scheduling or administrative experience (home care preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
- Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly under pressure
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
- Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, and squat throughout the day.
- Ability to safely assist clients in and out of a vehicle and safely lift a wheelchair or walker weighing up to 50lbs into and out of a vehicle.
- Physical ability to lift and transfer clients
- Use arms, legs, feet, hands, and fingers to assist clients with performing tasks of daily living.
- Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, light housekeeping, walking, and driving.
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Ability to see and hear well (naturally or with correction)
