General Manager, Distribution
Overview:
A rapidly growing organization is seeking a hands-on General Manager to drive operational excellence, revenue growth, and team development in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full P&L responsibility for the distribution operation
- Develop and implement strategic plans for growth and operational efficiency
- Lead site operations focused on revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery
- Champion lean/continuous improvement initiatives and a proactive safety culture
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Engineering, and Customer Experience
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering talent development and succession planning
- Monitor KPIs, drive cost reduction, and enhance quality standards
- Translate customer feedback into actionable technology and process improvements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10–15 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, or related sectors
- Proven track record in strategic planning, operational excellence, and team leadership
- Experience working with both blue- and white-collar teams
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean certification strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial engineering, technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated ability to drive change, challenge the status quo, and deliver results
- Strong commercial acumen and business/financial skills

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $180,000–$200,000
- Annual bonus: 20% based on individual and company performance
