Responsibilities:
- Drive performance in productivity, delivery, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction by collaborating directly with branch-level teams.
- Maintain full P&L responsibility and all operations at 3 manufacturing sites in 3 states, manage expenses, and implement Lean practices to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop teams with a hands-on, people-first approach, prioritizing coaching and collaborative leadership over top-down management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality systems, including training and adherence to EEOC, OSHA, and WIHA regulations.
- Oversee the health of equipment, personnel, and plant processes, working directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering strongly preferred
- 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience managing P&L for a location or business unit
Skills:
- Hands on leadership style – lead through presence, accessibility, and mentoring
- Strong communication skills from front line production team members through executive leadership
- Working knowledge of metals, CNC machining, saws, etc.
About the role:
- Full Time, Direct Hire
- Mon – Fri; 8a-5p
- Primarily onsite role with 50% travel – 2 weeks of the month in 2 different states
- Comp / Benefits – 125-150K DOE; company performance bonus potential, employer/employee supported medical, dental and vision plans, paid time off, and 401k
