We are hiring a VP of Operations to lead manufacturing, quality, supply chain and continuous improvement for an aerospace business. This senior role requires strategic leadership, operational excellence and deep knowledge of aerospace regulations and precision manufacturing.
Qualifications
- 20 years of experience in Operations
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role
- 15+ years in operations leadership within aerospace or precision manufacturing
- Background in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and ERP systems
- Proven success in supply chain risk management and supplier development
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Key Qualifications
- Provide strategic direction for production, quality, supply chain and engineering to meet growth and profitability goals
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, FAR/DFAR and other aerospace standards
- Improve manufacturing efficiency, yield and on time delivery
- Lead quality initiatives, root cause problem solving and corrective actions
- Manage supplier relationships and procurement to secure critical materials and reduce risk
- Oversee capacity planning, capital projects and facility improvements
- Build and develop teams, set KPIs and promote a strong safety culture
