Operation:Oversees all aspects of US logistics and safety management for the non-manufacturing facility.
QA:The QA function here is dedicated to addressing all post-sale quality complaints and defects concerning US-sold products.
Responsibilities:
Operations Responsibilities
This role is responsible for the overall oversight of US logistics and safety management for the facility.
Shop Operations Management
- Supervise all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and accountability through periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase throughput.
- Manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Safety Management
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in line with regulations such as OSHA.
- Lead regular safety audits and training programs to ensure a safe work environment and promote a safety-first culture.
- Investigate accidents or incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and direct corrective actions.
This function is critical to supporting the core business by ensuring high-quality products are delivered to customers efficiently and safely.
QA:
The Quality Assurance function is responsible for maintaining strict aerospace quality standards and managing all quality issues arising in the US market post-shipment.
Quality System Management and Audits
- Serve as the Management Representative responsible for maintaining the AS9100 Business Management System.
- Act as the FAA Accountable Manager, ensuring the maintenance of the FAA Quality Management System.
- Represent the company in all quality-related audits by customers and regulatory bodies.
Planning, Control, and Improvement
- Formulate and maintain quality objectives that align with corporate policies.
- Direct inspection and testing activities, developing standards and methods for evaluation to ensure consistency with company policies.
- Review design documentation and vendor quality manuals for compliance with stated requirements.
- Develop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality activities to drive continuous improvement.
External Compliance and Liaison
- Investigate and coordinate with customers regarding quality complaints.
- Maintain working knowledge of government and industry quality codes and standards, and ensure key personnel are aware of the quality philosophy.
This role is the cornerstone of quality governance, ensuring compliance with international standards and maintaining customer trust.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
8–10 years of related experience. Must include managerial, quality assurance.
Aerospace industry experience, a must.
Expertise in FAA regulations, including experience with PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) and 14 CFR Part 21.
DMIR (Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative) certification or the ability to qualify is a strong plus.
Proficiency in online shipping platforms (DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.) and ability to coordinate with freight forwarders. Must be able to serve as the backup shipper.
Must be able to obtain and maintain access to The Boeing Company’s Supplier Portal.
Working Hour:7am-4pm
