President
We are seeking a dynamic President/CEO to lead a privately held plastic products manufacturing company. This executive will be responsible for setting the vision, driving profitable growth, and overseeing all aspects of the business with full P&L accountability. The President will guide the leadership team, strengthen operations, and build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan, focusing on growth, operations, and sales.
- Lead, mentor, and expand the leadership team.
- Oversee all functions: operations, marketing, finance, HR, customer service, product development, and supply chain.
- Drive new product development and brand innovation to meet market needs and profitability goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to achieve operational excellence.
- Establish and manage organizational goals, metrics, and KPIs.
- Direct planning and execution of production, sales forecasting, raw material procurement, and inventory management.
- Foster a high-performance culture rooted in trust, respect, and accountability.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive management experience, including 5+ years in a general management role with full P&L responsibility.
- At least 3 years in manufacturing leadership; plastics or process manufacturing preferred.
- Proven success in growing businesses profitably through innovation and commercialization.
- Expertise in lean manufacturing implementation with measurable results.
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and business acumen.
- Demonstrated turnaround and change leadership experience.
- High emotional intelligence with excellent communication and team-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering; MBA preferred.
