Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Managing Director to lead and expand our U.S. subsidiary operations. This role combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and international collaboration, ensuring that our U.S. business achieves sustainable growth within the global industrial automation sector.
The Senior Managing Director will act as the senior-most executive in the subsidiary, responsible for business strategy, operations, and market development, while working closely with the Group headquarters and international leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the U.S. subsidiary’s long-term business strategy in alignment with Group objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities in industrial automation and adjacent technologies.
- Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, strategic partnerships, and channel development.
- Represent the company with clients, partners, regulators, and industry associations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including P&L responsibility, compliance, and risk management.
- Implement robust processes and systems to support scalability and efficiency
- Build and lead a high-performing management team.
- Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Act as a bridge between the U.S. subsidiary and global headquarters.
- Provide regular business reports, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations to the Group.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Technical background preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial automation, robotics, or related high-tech manufacturing sectors.
- Proven track record in P&L management, international business expansion, and strategic execution.
- Strong network within the automation and manufacturing industries.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-cultural management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and global environment.
