Summary
Responsible for overseeing all cutting, sewing, and packing phases of production, beginning with the receipt of the cut orders and ending when finished goods are delivered into inventory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Meet customer production delivery plans with the best cost and quality.
- Ensure the use of EXENTA across all supervisors and employees, particularly in production-related areas.
- Ensure the efficient use of the ETON production system across direct labor and supervisors.
- Ensure we meet Plant KPI’s and goals satisfactorily.
- Cost, Quality, Service, and Safety are the top performance metrics to meet.
- Work to develop and implement training and succession plans for direct reports.
- Utilizing the manufacturing Master Plan: Develop production schedules for workers in these departments, and is responsible for adherence to that schedule to help ensure that goods meet the customers’ quality standards and are shipped on time.
- Designs, maintains, and reports on key performance indicators by area as required.
- Maintains accurate record-keeping to provide upper management with the necessary information.
- Evaluate performance, payroll, work in process, and any other pertinent or specific feedback.
- Ensure that personnel receive the proper training, motivation, and education to perform the work required.
- Ensures optimal cost, inventory, quality, and production control of all personnel equipment and materials while in these departments.
- Ensure special measurements of products are made on time and of acceptable quality.
