Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the flow of goods, resources, and information required by supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively. Coordination with Production Control, Inventory Management, Logistics, Sales, Customer Service and suppliers are vital to optimizing the supply chain. This role will need to successfully negotiate pricing and terms, resolve critical component shortages, monitor raw inventory, and address daily issues that arise within the department.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support business objectives and manufacturing requirements
- Lead coordination and manage procurement of raw materials, components, inventory, and services while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
- Work with production on planning, forecasting, and capacity planning in alignment with sales and operational goals
- Coordinate inbound freight to ensure on-time deliveries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and services agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and quality improvements
- Work closely with foreign entities to procure and manage inbound finished goods
- Implement best practices, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, finance, and sales teams to align supply chain activities
- Maintain critical data fields in ERP system
- Work closely with Engineering on ECO process
- May perform other duties as required and/or assigned
Qualifications

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in production and inventory control field or minimum of 8-10 years working in a Supply Chain Management role
- Proficient in ERP systems and supply chain analytic tools
- Ability to read technical documentation and visual schematics
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products
- Ability to work independently and to make decisions in the best interest of the customer and the company
Physical Demands & Working Environment:
- Full-time office based within the manufacturing assembly facility
- Standard working hours M-F( 8am-5pm) with flexibility
- Occasional domestic travel to suppliers/vendors
- Fast-paced, deadline driven environment requiring multitasking and problem-solving
