Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Coordinator located in Greater Orlando. The Patient Coordinator will manage appointment scheduling, handle receptionist duties, ensure effective communication with patients, and perform tasks related to medical terminology. Day-to-day responsibilities include answering phone calls, coordinating patient schedules, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from check-in to check-out.
Qualifications
- Strong Phone Etiquette skills
- Experience in Appointment Scheduling and Receptionist Duties
- Knowledge of Dental Terminology
- Ability to verify insurance coverage and present treatment plans to patients
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical administration is advantageous
