Overview
A well-established and highly respected Orthopedic organization is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join their dynamic billing team. The ideal candidate is a billing professional with a strong background in orthopedic and spine-related billing, and hands-on experience with Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) processes. Your knowledge will directly contribute to accurate claims processing, optimal reimbursement, and continued excellence in patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit and manage claims for orthopedic and spine procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payer guidelines.
- Handle IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) cases, including documentation, submission, and follow-up.
- Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies; initiate appeals when needed.
- Collaborate with providers and coders to ensure correct coding and maximize reimbursement.
Qualifications
- Billing experience in an orthopedic or surgical setting.
- Proven knowledge of IDR protocols and dispute resolution processes.
- Familiarity with spine-related coding, billing, and payer guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
