Company Description
Baresque is seeking a seasoned and self-motivated
Manufacturing Engineer to support our growing portfolio of OEM and proprietary brands under the Baresque Group. This hybrid role blends
implementation and
product engineering, with a key focus on helping manage the rollout of complex new product development (NPD) initiatives across our global manufacturing network.
You’ll be a critical partner to our U.S.-based Product and Implementation teams, ensuring OEM product releases are executed smoothly, while also advising on engineering improvements and efficiencies across the board.
Job Description
Implementation & Project Management
- Source and onboard vendors for new and existing products and processes.
- Project manage pilot orders and conduct Critical to Quality (CTQ) checks.
- Finalise operational readiness including training, stock volumes, and ERP setup.
- Develop accurate product costings and Bill of Materials.
- Lead finished product certifications (e.g., BIFMA) and compliance reporting.
- Create and roll out quality control (QC) procedures.
Engineering & Product Development
- Use Solidworks to design and engineer new product concepts for offshore manufacturing.
- Manage development lifecycle independently, from concept through to production, with input from the Engineering Manager.
- Create 2D drawing packages for manufacture and prototype/test designs for manufacturability.
- Guide internal teams and external vendors with manufacturing best practices.
- Resolve production issues collaboratively with OEM partners and vendors.
- Lead technical compliance and documentation processes (e.g., PPAP).
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering (mix of implementation and product development).
- Strong experience with Solidworks 3D modeling and production drawing.
- Exposure to international manufacturing and quality control practices.
- Self-driven, highly autonomous, and comfortable working across time zones.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and vendors simultaneously.
- Hands on Prototyping and CNC Machine use
Additional Information
Salary: $95,000- 105,000
This is a fully in office position.
