As a key member of the Global Procurement Team, the Global Strategic Sourcing Manager will serve as a partner to the functional teams, including Research & Development, Commercial, and Supply Chain. This role is responsible for driving value through supplier performance, cost optimization, innovation, and risk mitigation across a wide range of indirect spend categories.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support strategic supplier relationships to enhance value in areas such as risk management, performance, quality, and innovation.
Partner with the Head of Global Procurement to execute complex sourcing initiatives aligned with business goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to plan supplier strategies, manage budgets, and identify and mitigate risks.
Develop and implement sourcing strategies that reduce cost, increase value, and drive innovation.
Design and maintain accurate reporting for spend, savings, and supplier performance.
Track procurement plan execution and ensure achievement of total cost of ownership (TCO) savings.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including RFPs/RFQs/RFSs, bid analysis, negotiations, and award decisions.
Negotiate complex contracts and oversee all administrative elements, including deliverables, timelines, and contract values.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Business, Finance or Supply Chain
Minimum 5 years of strategic sourcing or indirect procurement or experience within a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical devices, experience preferred).
Proven success in stakeholder management, cost savings, and procurement transformation initiatives.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
