As a key member of the Global Procurement Team, the Global Strategic Sourcing Manager will serve as a partner to the functional teams, including Research & Development, Commercial, and Supply Chain. This role is responsible for driving value through supplier performance, cost optimization, innovation, and risk mitigation across a wide range of indirect spend categories.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support strategic supplier relationships to enhance value in areas such as risk management, performance, quality, and innovation.
- Partner with the Head of Global Procurement to execute complex sourcing initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan supplier strategies, manage budgets, and identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that reduce cost, increase value, and drive innovation.
- Design and maintain accurate reporting for spend, savings, and supplier performance.
- Track procurement plan execution and ensure achievement of total cost of ownership (TCO) savings.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including RFPs/RFQs/RFSs, bid analysis, negotiations, and award decisions.
- Negotiate complex contracts and oversee all administrative elements, including deliverables, timelines, and contract values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Business, Finance or Supply Chain
- Minimum 5 years of strategic sourcing or indirect procurement or experience within a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical devices, experience preferred).
- Proven success in stakeholder management, cost savings, and procurement transformation initiatives.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
