Job Details:
- Lead all aspects of manufacturing strategy, operational readiness, and continuous improvement across the production value chain.
- Direct engineering and deployment of production line equipment, including clean rooms, specifications, and factory infrastructure interfaces.
- Oversee FAT, installation, SAT, commissioning, and service agreements for major equipment packages.
- Support ramp-up of new production lines by establishing stable processes, controls, and documentation.
- Implement and govern a comprehensive production system (SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, standard work).
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, suppliers, and technology teams to ensure alignment between process design and plant performance.
Qualifications:
- Leadership experience in advanced manufacturing environments such as solar, semiconductor, electronics, or high-precision automation.
- Deep technical understanding of production equipment, automated systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven success managing CAPEX/OPEX budgets, vendor negotiations, and supplier performance.
- Hands-on background in commissioning, ramp-up, FAT/SAT, and equipment lifecycle management.
- Expertise in production systems, process control, documentation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong team-building skills and the ability to relocate to Austin, TX; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
