Being involved in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, vehicles, clean energy, pharmaceutical, oil, gas, mining, and industrial applications.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our production processes and finished products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify issues, implement improvements, and drive operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Establish quality and reliability standards by collaborating with cross-functional departments to analyze product specifications and customer requirements.
- Lead efforts to achieve and maintain IATF 16949 certification, ensuring all manufacturing processes, documentation, and quality systems are fully aligned with the stringent standards of automotive industry compliance.
- Promote product quality by developing, implementing, and maintaining quality policies that align with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, ensuring consistent compliance and continuous improvement across all manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and resolve issues through Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate and ensure compliance with established quality standards and process controls.
- Prepare product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing performance data and trends. Generate statistical reports to monitor process control, uptime, and scrap percentage.
- Communicate effectively with employees across all departments to support and achieve quality-related goals.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality-related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry standards, process improvement, and compliance protocols.
- Experience working with customer and supplier quality programs, including audits, complaint resolution, and performance tracking.
- Strong familiarity with manufacturing drawings, tolerances, and material specifications for wire and steel products.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP systems, and quality software tools.
