We are introducing a new Blanks Division, which supplies premium fleece and activewear blanks to retailers and private-label partners across the U.S. and Canada. The person in this role will spearhead sales, strategy, and relationships with retailers and private-label partners to build this division from the ground up.
Role OverviewThe Blanks Division Sales Manager will take full ownership of building and growing our new Blanks Division - a category dedicated to premium fleece and activewear blanks for retailers and private-label partners across the U.S. and Canada.
This role is sales-driven and entrepreneurial at its core. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new wholesale and private-label relationships, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth through strategic outreach, trade show participation, and showroom presentations. They’ll serve as the main point of contact for all Blanks Division buyers - ensuring smooth communication between accounts, factories, and internal teams to deliver on sales goals and customer expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrive overall sales growth for the Blanks Division across wholesale, private-label, and retail channels.
Identify and open new retail and private-label accounts throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Manage and grow existing buyer relationships, ensuring strong communication, service, and retention.
Partner with factories and the production team to align pricing, delivery timelines, and stock flow with sales goals.
Develop and execute a strategic outreach plan — including prospecting, email campaigns, showroom appointments, and trade show follow-ups.
Work closely with leadership to set sales forecasts, margin goals, and growth targets for the division.
Prepare and present line sheets, sales materials, and samples to buyers in person and virtually.
Track performance by style, category, and customer to identify top sellers and opportunities for expansion.
Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to align new product offerings with retailer demand.
Represent the Blanks Division at trade shows, market weeks, and showroom appointments, maintaining a strong, positive brand presence.
Provide regular sales reports and feedback to leadership, helping shape the future direction of the division.
Qualifications3–5 years of experience in apparel wholesale blanks
Proven track record of opening and growing accounts across private-label and off-price channels.
Strong understanding of fleece, activewear, and apparel manufacturing basics — able to confidently discuss fabrics, fits, and production capabilities with buyers.
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills; able to manage multiple accounts and timelines simultaneously.
Comfortable leading showroom appointments, trade show presentations, and virtual buyer meetings.
Highly organized and proactive — capable of working independently and driving results in a fast-growing brand environment.
Proficiency with NuOrder, ApparelMagic, and Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets experience required).
Strong negotiation, presentation, and written communication skills.
