We’ve partnered with a leading U.S. crane manufacturer known for its custom lifting systems supporting NASA, Blue Origin, Airbus, Disney, and Lockheed Martin. They’re seeking a Manufacturing Lead specializing in structural fabrication to support ongoing crane production and help guide the setup of a new heavy-fabrication line at their Pittsburgh facility. What You'll Do
- Lead and support the setup of equipment, tooling, and process workflow for a new girder line
- Guide weld sequencing, heat management, and structural alignment on the shop floor
- Partner with engineering and production to ensure quality, safety, and throughput
- Develop standardized processes, train staff, and drive continuous improvement
What You'll Need
- 5+ years in crane, girder, or heavy welded-structure fabrication
- Strong hands-on experience in fabrication setup or shop supervision
- Solid understanding of welding, material handling, and structural assembly
- Ability to read mechanical drawings; engineering experience is a plus
