Job Description
Eurofins Medical Device Services is looking for a
Production Planner to join our team in Lancaster, PA. This individual will:
- Execute efficient schedules on a regular basis to maximize efficiency of resources and equipment.
- Collaborate with staff to identify scheduling requirements
- Proactively monitors production process, workflow, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide various scheduling analyses to ensure optimal schedules and provide staff recommendations.
- Make recommendations to modify production dates based on materials and capacity fluctuations.
- Lead and execute the expansion of the scheduling service to new teams and sites
- Recognize and analyze problems with scheduling system to solve ongoing and repeat issues
- Capture, store, and report on historical statistics
- Generate daily or weekly production reports to leaders for critical decision-making purposes.
- Maintain communication of information between the users and management concerning system development and maintenance needs, objectives, and strategies.
- Champion and implement process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with new processes across service lines.
Qualifications
Performs other related duties as required and directed
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess
- 1-3 years of scheduling experience is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Microsoft Project is highly desirable
- High level critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to think abstractly/conceptually about data fields, data relationships, and processes.
- Project management or facilitation skills.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to forecast and trend workload needs.
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical testing is not required, but would be beneficial
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required.
Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma, Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Additional Information
Working schedule will be
Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Candidates
currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. This position is
