Director of Operations: Supply Chain (4 days onsite)

Our client provide single-source service for custom cases and packaging that are used to secure, protect, transport and display some of the world’s finest products. The position will report to the COO and assume a practical and strategic role in the day to day management of all operations.

What You’ll Do

Create an environment for advanced manufacturing development, building on sustainable manufacturing processes in place, and new automation approaches for manual operations.
A people manager with a passion to develop your technical team of process and test engineers; provide them with the tools to grow.
Empower your team early in new product development to create proofs of concept models, develop risk mitigation plans and offer recommendations for redesign.
Provide project resource allocation, priority setting, performance reviews.
As a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, you will be expected to contribute to the future direction and transformation of the team as we strive to become the highest performing organization in our industry.

Skills You’ll Need

Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering..
10+ years experience as a team leader of a production operation and technical manufacturing engineering team.
A bridge builder to partner with Engineering and our manufacturing outsourced partners.
Ability to influence others with regards to optimization of a new product design for manufacturing and or service.
Experience with planning & execution of design of experiments (DOE), tolerance analysis (TA) and process Six Sigma.
Experienced leader in supply chain and warehousing operations. Proficient in planning, purchasing, MRP, utilizing metrics to ensure success.
