Patient Care Coordinator.

$16/hr
Position Overview
The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role, serving as the first point of contact for patients and staff. They will ensure smooth operations at the front desk and manage various administrative tasks. This position is Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities Of The Patient Care Coordinator
- Work with patients directly to collect and verify insurance documentation.
- Maintain office inventory levels.
- Greet patients and ensure they are checked in properly.
- Schedule upcoming appointments and notify patients of any cancellations.
- Report directly to the onsite Provider and ensure that all patients have a seamless experience.
Required Experience/Skills for the Patient Care Coordinator:
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor is a must.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
