We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sourcing Coordinator to help ensure the right materials, packaging, and products are in the right place at the right time, supporting our teams in delivering high-quality, innovative products to market.
Overview:
The Sourcing Coordinator supports the Sourcing team in sourcing raw materials, packaging, and finished goods for consumer products. This role helps manage vendor communication, track sample development, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining quality, cost, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple product categories and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sourcing process for new and existing consumer products, including identifying and vetting suppliers, requesting quotes, and maintaining vendor records.
- Issue and manage sample requests; monitor development status to ensure timely production and delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers on product samples, pricing, testing, and packaging requirements.
- Maintain accurate data in PLM, ERP, and sourcing systems, including cost sheets, lead times, and vendor profiles.
- Partner closely with Product Development, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product specifications and timelines are met.
- Track supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness) escalating issues when needed.
- Support cost analysis and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities or alternative sourcing options.
- Help manage product testing, compliance documentation, and sustainability requirements as applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Merchandising, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain coordination (consumer goods experience strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with ERP/PLM systems a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong follow-up and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
