What You Need
- Five to seven years of related experience with logistics, ordering and warehouse duties.
- Excellent record keeping skills and knowledge of how a warehouse and job sites operate.
- Ability to analyze pricing, discounts, and invoices to ensure accurate pricing and billing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Professional and friendly demeanor for internal and external transactions.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Eagerness for professional development and growth.
- Ability to pass various background checks.
- Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.
- Desirable (but not required):
- Experience in the sprinkler and fitting parts industry.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for coordination of orders, material management, schedules, warehouse, deliveries, and supervision of staff for the assigned positions.
- Maintain proper Risk Management and Safety procedures on all job sites per VSC policies.
- Maintain a Vendor List with preferred vendors to ensure VSC is receiving purchases below standard cost.
- Coordinate and supervise warehouse personnel, delivery drivers, and receiving clerks.
