Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Administrative Assistant to provide essential clerical support, manage patient communications, and coordinate scheduling for our clinical staff. This is an in-person, full time position at our corporate HQ in West St. Louis County. Please do not apply if you are not able to be in-person on the first day of employment, we will not accept relocating or in the process of moving as acceptable for this position. This role is key to keeping our operations running smoothly and ensuring exceptional service for our patients and partners.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, and facility staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Schedule patient visits and coordinate calendars for mobile wound care providers
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage general office correspondence
• Maintain and update patient records and documentation
• Assist with insurance verifications and prior authorizations as needed
• Order office and medical supplies, track inventory
• Support billing and claims processes with basic administrative tasks
• Perform other general office duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous experience in a healthcare or medical office setting strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning EMR systems
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus
