Provide essential care and support as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) within a K-12 educational setting in New London, CT. This contract role is designed to serve the unique needs of a 6th grade student requiring dedicated healthcare assistance during the school year.
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification is required
- Experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations preferred
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow healthcare protocols in a school environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with school staff and families

- Caseload: Provide care for one 6th grade student
Responsibilities:
- Assist the student with daily healthcare needs and personal care as outlined in their care plan
- Monitor and document health status, reporting changes to school nurses and healthcare providers
- Ensure the students comfort and safety during the school day
- Support coordination between school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to promote the students well-being and educational success
