President – Advanced Manufacturing / LED Lighting Systems

Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven President to lead a complex manufacturing organization through a multi-year transformation and growth phase. The ideal candidate will combine strategic discipline with a strong technical foundation, bringing the ability to define operational milestones, stabilize performance, and coach the next generation of leadership.
This role requires a hands-on, execution-oriented leader comfortable in a manufacturing environment that blends mechanical and electrical systems. The President will be accountable for measurable progress over a defined 6–12-month transformation timeline and for establishing the long-term plan that positions the business for sustained success.
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute a turnaround plan focused on operational stability, margin improvement, and growth readiness.
• Define key metrics and milestones for the first 6–12 months of transformation, ensuring disciplined follow-through.
• Partner with ownership and the board to align strategy, capital priorities, and value-creation goals.
Operational Excellence
• Oversee all aspects of manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain with a focus on throughput, quality, and safety.
• Improve production planning, SKU management, and cost control while implementing lean and continuous-improvement practices.
• Lead modernization of systems and equipment where mechanical and electrical disciplines intersect, strengthening process reliability.
Financial and Performance Management
• Drive measurable EBITDA improvement through disciplined cost management and working-capital optimization.
• Establish KPIs tied to operations, customer delivery, and cash flow performance.
• Ensure sound financial reporting and forecasting to support data-driven decisions.
Team and Culture Leadership
• Build and mentor a capable leadership team while developing emerging managers for future succession.
• Promote a culture grounded in accountability, open communication, and pride in execution.
• Champion cross-functional collaboration and a solutions-oriented mindset across operations, engineering, and commercial functions.
Commercial and Customer Focus
• Strengthen relationships with key customers and channel partners to support retention and growth.
• Reinforce alignment between operational performance, customer satisfaction, and strategic priorities.
•Identify opportunities for product and process innovation to serve evolving customer needs.
Change Management
• Lead the organization through cultural and structural change, creating clarity of direction and reinforcing consistency of execution.
• Communicate progress, milestones, and expectations throughout all levels of the company.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as President, COO, or senior executive leading manufacturing or industrial organizations of comparable scale.
• Demonstrated success managing a 6–12-month turnaround or transformation initiative
• Strong technical foundation in manufacturing operations, including familiarity with electrical and mechanical processes.
• Financial acumen and experience managing full P&L accountability.
• Hands-on, visible leader skilled at motivating teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Compensation
- Base salary targeted in the $225,000–$250,000 range, plus performance-based bonus and long-term incentive participation.
