We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Operations Manager who leads by doing and thrives in fast-moving environments where structure, accountability, and execution drive results. In this role, your presence and decisions will directly shape the pace, performance, and success of our operations.
What You’ll Do
- Own the daily rhythm of the floor from production and packaging to maintenance and warehousing.
- Supervise and hold line managers accountable for staffing, workflow, and schedule adherence.
- Walk the facility daily, ensuring departments are organized, clean, and on pace.
- Lead production meetings, set clear targets, and follow up with results.
- Spot issues before they cause delays and coordinate rapid fixes.
- Keep production, maintenance, logistics, and quality aligned to avoid downtime.
- Enforce and improve SOPs, reporting, and visual management systems.
- Track and report performance using operations software (batch processing experience a plus).
- Provide daily updates and escalations directly to the Director of Operations.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in manufacturing or production operations management.
- Proven success managing multiple managers in high-volume environments.
- Strong grasp of production flow, scheduling, and efficiency optimization.
- Proficiency with operations or production software for scheduling and reporting.
- Excellent communication and leadership presence on the floor.
- Comfort in environments where priorities shift quickly with urgency and precision.
Preferred
- ERP, MES, or batch processing experience.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement background.
- Data-driven decision-maker with a track record of turning insights into action.
- Experience supporting machine startups or scaling production lines.
- Experience in CPG, beverage, or supplement manufacturing.
Physical Capacity
This is an active, on-site role that requires a regular presence on the production floor. The Operations Senior Manager must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lift, and move materials up to 50 pounds as needed, and occasionally lift or move up to 75 - 80 pounds. The environment may include exposure to moderate noise levels, temperature variations, and airborne particulates related to flavor, fragrance, or powdered product formulations.
