About the Role:
We are seeking an Operations Director to lead and scale the company’s Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Digital, and Design functions. This is a pivotal leadership position in a dynamic organization—ideal for a hands-on operations leader who has come up through the ranks in engineering and thrives in a high-growth, collaborative environment.
You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring efficient end-to-end product delivery, and supporting the company’s global expansion strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Digital, and Product Design teams.
- Manage Supply Chain, Logistics, and Stores operations, ensuring materials and components are available to meet production schedules and customer demand.
- Build and optimize operational processes to deliver high-quality, compliant medical device products efficiently and at scale.
- Partner closely with R&D, Quality/Regulatory, and Executive leadership to align operations with company goals and regulatory standards.
- Oversee manufacturing planning, supplier management, and production execution to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement, digital transformation, and lean initiatives across the organization.
- Develop and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and long-term business planning as part of the senior leadership team.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience leading operations or engineering in a medical device or advanced technology environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, logistics, product design, and digital integration.
- Demonstrated success in scaling operations and delivering complex products from concept to commercialization.
- A leader who is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to inspire teams and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
