Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee all operations within the company’s Arizona manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring safety and quality standards, optimizing production efficiency, and leading a high-performing team through continued growth and modernization.
This is a hands-on leadership position that will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technically advanced manufacturing environment with strong ties to the broader technology infrastructure sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, safety, and quality objectives are consistently achieved.
- Provide strategic direction for a team of Production Supervisors, Engineers, Maintenance, and Quality personnel.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on lean manufacturing, cost reduction, and throughput optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Engineering, EHS, HR) to align plant goals with corporate objectives.
- Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and engagement across all departments.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and plant P&L performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and internal quality standards (ISO/ASME preferred).
- Support the installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment and technology upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related experience.
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with a minimum of 3–5 years in a plant or operations leadership role.
- Proven track record managing teams of 100+ employees within a high-mix or precision production environment.
- Strong background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process-improvement methodologies.
- Experience managing capital projects and plant expansion initiatives is a plus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate across all levels of the organization.
