Our client, a growing metal manufacturing company near Throop, PA, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily operations at their facility. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a team of 12 employees, where your expertise and problem-solving skills will directly drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production, maintenance, shipping, and receiving in a small manufacturing plant
- Develop schedules and assign tasks to supervisors
- Monitor plant performance and implement process improvements
- Champion safety programs and OSHA compliance
- Mentor supervisors and leads while fostering a collaborative, team-focused culture
- Ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and inventory control
- Manage plant costs to meet and exceed operational goals
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–10 years of leadership experience in metal manufacturing, ideally in a smaller plant environment
- Hands-on experience as a Production Supervisor or Plant Manager
- Familiarity with ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, but not required
