Company Overview
We are a growing manufacturing company seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily operations at our facility near Scranton, PA. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a team of 12 employees.
Position Summary
The Plant Manager is responsible for plant operations, safety, quality, productivity, and cost management. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, this role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee production, maintenance, shipping, and receiving
- Develop schedules and assign tasks to supervisors
- Monitor plant performance and implement process improvements
- Champion safety programs and OSHA compliance
- Mentor supervisors and leads while fostering teamwork
- Ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and inventory control
- Manage plant costs to achieve and exceed goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 5–10 years’ leadership experience in manufacturing
- Familiar with ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $80,000
- Bonus: Up to 20% annually (10% paid quarterly + 10% potential additional bonus)
- Schedule - Full-time, on-site role
